Meet your guide

Gul Hussain Baizada is known as a friendly and memorable guide who offers unforgettable adventure trip to Pakistan. Originally from Afghanistan, he is now based in New Zealand, bringing with him nearly 14 years of expertise in guiding and tour leading. Having spent extensive time in both Afghanistan and Pakistan, he is fluent in Urdu, English, and Persian.

Itinerary

28 September -8 October 2024 
Day 1:  Islamabad
Arrive in Islamabad early morning. Drive to Naran in the Kaghan Valley. Check into Batakundi Hotel for overnight stay.
 
Day 2:  Hunza
Depart Naran early morning for Hunza, driving over Babusar Pass. Enjoy views of the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindu Kush ranges. Stop at various points for photography. Overnight at Hill Top Hotel in Hunza.
 
Day 3:  Karimabad Hunza
After breakfast, visit Altit Fort and Baltit Fort in Karimabad. Drive up to Duiker for panoramic views of the Hunza Valley at sunset.
 
Day 4:  Khunjerab Pass
Day trip to Khunjerab Pass, the highest border crossing in the world. Pass through Attabad Lake, Gulmit, and Passu. Visit the Hussaini suspension bridge. Return to Marcopolo Inn Gulmit for overnight stay.
 
Day 5:  Borit Lake
Early morning photography session around Borit Lake. Explore the area and take in the natural beauty. Overnight at a hotel by the lake.
 
Day 6:  Ghulkin Glacier - Gulmit
Another early start for sunrise photography at Passu Glacier and Passu cones. Trek over Ghulkin Glacier to Gulmit, passing through picturesque villages and with views of the surrounding peaks. Overnight at Marcopolo Inn.
 
Day 7:  Hoper
Drive to Hoper in Nagar Valley. Visit the Hussaini suspension bridge and walk across. Continue to Hoper and Barpu Glacier, with views of Golden Peak (7027m) and Ultar. Drive to Minapin, stopping at Rakaposhi viewpoint. Overnight at OSHO THANG Guest House.
 
Day 8:  Swat
Depart for Swat Valley, driving along the Indus River and over the Shangla Pass. Enroute, visit Shatrial Petrolglyps. Check into Hotel Swat Palace for overnight stay.
 
Day 9:  Peshawar
Drive to Peshawar, stopping at Swat museum in Saidu Sharif, Ghalegay Budh, and Shingardara Stupa. Continue to Peshawar, where you'll visit Yadgar Chowk, Mohabat Khan Mosque, and Qissa Khwani Bazar. Overnight at Fort Continental Hotel.
 
Day 10:  Islamabad
Visit Peshawar Museum (closed on Fridays), then drive back to Islamabad. Enroute, visit Taxila museum and a truck paint workshop in Rawalpindi. Enjoy your final evening at Grand Islamabad Hotel.

Day 11:  Departure
Transfer to the airport for onward flight.
